Dr. Elizabeth A. Micci

Elizabeth designs and implements new education strategies and structures for public and private schools in the U.S. and internationally. As part of her doctoral research at Harvard, she led the secondary school redesign at The Harbour School, an innovative international institution in Hong Kong. She successfully managed this advanced program for two years after completing her degree.  Prior to that, she co-founded and administered an academy within the César E. Chávez public high school in southeast Houston. The Chávez Prep academy prepared students to gain acceptance to major universities and excel. Presently, Elizabeth is a Managing Director at Citizen Schools, a national nonprofit that provides 21st century pedagogical models and training to public school teachers. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard, a MA in English Literature from Middlebury College, and a BA in Business Administration and English Literature from Washington and Lee University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Harbour School of Hong Kong, the Parish Council at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton, the Board of Directors for the Belmont Dramatic Club, and is a lifelong figure skater.  Member since 2021, Board since 2022.
